Originally founded by Paul Currie, the Lakes Distillery is situated in the Lake District (as the name would suggest) as part of a converted old Victorian cattle farm and it takes its inspiration from the stunning landscape that surrounds it. The technology and hardware are state-of-the-art but the methods are as traditional as always in what they call a “holistic whisky making” process.
This limited release was bottled for renowned three star Michelin chef Simon Rogan. As well as his restaurant L’Enclume having the three stars, it was also awarded the Michelin green star in 2021 for its efforts in the sustainability sphere.
