A distillery that was closed more than it was ever open - missing out on the high times of single malt whisky - Imperial produced whisky mainly for blending. However, the floral flavours of their whisky has grown in popularity in recent years and stock is starting to run low. While the buildings were demolished in 2013, the up-side is that they have made way for the new and rather stunning Dalmunach distillery so it’s not all bad news.
A very limited 2021 release which was produced by Speciality Drinks in collaboration with London bar Park Row and DC Comics. The name of the whisky is taken from the fictional town of Inishtree, which in the Batman comics is the ancestral home of Bruce Wayne.
