Named after the Great Scottish Trail that follows the path of the former Highland Railway line, The Dava Way is a series of single cask offerings from the new Dunphail distillery outside Forres, while we wait on their first single malt to arrive.
All of the barley is prepared inside the distilleries traditional malthouse, with working kiln and iconic pagoda roof. The dedication to detail is demonstrated by using long fermentations, applying direct fire to the pot stills, alongside an extensive maturation policy for their casks. All of these help ensure that Dunphail’s whisky possesses a unique flavour and character.
...Let’s hope we don’t have to wait too long.
