Scottish Leader

Founded in 1948, Glasgow, Burn Stewart grew globally, with its flagship brand Scottish Leader embodying visions, craftsmanship, and adventurous spirit. Launched in 1976 for the French market, Scottish Leader showcased pure Scottish flavours and later thrived in South Africa through strategic partnerships and local acclaim.

Entering Taiwan in 1995, Scottish Leader’s premium whiskies initially struggled, prompting in-depth study of local drinking culture to identify new growth opportunities. In 1998, Scottish Leader Supreme broke age and price barriers with a smooth and rich flavour, and was embraced by Taiwanese consumers. Its eagle logo symbolised foresight, freedom, and exploration.
